A major global brand set to open a new North East location next week is offering the first 100 patrons a one-off deal.
Flying Tiger Copenhagen will celebrate the grand opening of its new store at Metrocentre, in Gateshead, next Thursday (November 2).
The Danish variety retailer, known across the world for its comprehensive and eclectic stock, will be offering its first visitors the opportunity to get in on a number of exciting giveaways.
The first 100 people through its doors will receive a free goodie bag "packed full of treats."
It currently has almost 1,000 stores in 25 countries.
The new 3,600 sq ft store will be situated on the ground floor of the Green Mall opposite Boots and next to Ann Summers.
With the countdown to Christmas now firmly on, the store will be launching with its first sweep of festive stock, giving shoppers the chance to get ahead on scouting for decorations, gifts and holiday essentials.
Ben Cox of Sovereign Centros, senior asset manager for Metrocentre said: "Flying Tiger Copenhagen is a fantastic addition to the Green Mall and we are sure it will be a hit with our shoppers.
"With their huge and varied product lines, and with new items coming into stock every month, there’s always something new for our shoppers to discover.
"The store will shortly be joined in the Green Mall by a new flagship showroom for Goldsmiths and a brand new Rolex boutique to further enhance the appeal of the mall."

"Our customers have asked us to return to the North East since we moved out of the city centre, we listened and have found the right location."
Flying Tiger Copenhagen also has plans to open at a number of other shopping centres in the UK including in Manchester, London and Liverpool.
