A teenager was arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs yesterday following a police search.

A male has been arrested after suspected drugs were seized in a stop and search in central Middlesbrough on Monday (October 23).

Officers from Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Policing Team searched a male, 17, and recovered suspected cannabis and cash.

Cleveland Police said he was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs and has been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
