Darlington Police are appealing for witnesses after two men are believed to have stolen a scooter in Heighington.
Officers were called to a house on Hopelands Street at 3.40am, October 23.
It is believed that two men in a Volkswagen Golf came to the house and stole a scooter from outside the house.
The police want to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw two men behaving suspiciously in the village earlier in the day.

A Darlington Police spokesperson said: "Can you help our officers investigating the theft of a scooter from a house in Heighington last night?
"Police were called at 3.40am today to reports of a scooter being stolen from a house in Hopelands.
"Two men are believed to have driven a black Volkswagen Golf to the address before stealing the bike from outside the house and taking it onto Highside Road.
"We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw two men acting suspiciously in the village in the early hours of this morning.
