LEEDS Bradford Airport was evacuated just hours after reopening following the discovery of a 'suspicious package'.
The incident adds to what has been a weekend full of disruption for the Yeadon-based airport.
Leeds Bradford Airport had been closed for almost a day as it dealt with the aftermath of a Boeing 737 plane veering off the runway amid Storm Babet.
It reopened on Saturday lunchtime, only to be reportedly evacuated at around 7.30pm when the package was found outside the building.
The bag was later determined to have been a piece of luggage left by a passenger.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed to the Telegraph & Argus that they had been at the scene to investigate.
The T&A has approached Leeds Bradford Airport for a comment.
