A County Durham car park was reportedly closed earlier today as police and the ambulance service attended the scene of a person who had collapsed.
Emergency services attended Asda on Burnhope Way, Peterlee this afternoon (October 19) just before 2pm.
Two ambulances, a clinical team leader and a rapid responder were all sent to the incident.
A North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) spokesperson said: "We were called at 13.44h today (19 OCT) for a patient who had collapsed near to the Asda service station in Peterlee.
"Two paramedic crews, a clinical team leader and a rapid responder were dispatched."
Durham Constabulary has been contacted for more information.
