Police have launched an appeal to try and find the whereabouts of a missing North East man who was last seen leaving his house on Tuesday (October 17).
Officers from Northumbria Police are looking for information about David Chambers, 59, who was last seen at his home address in the Beverley Court area of Jarrow at 12.30pm.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

David is described as white, 5ft 9in tall and of stocky build with a bald head.
He has several tattoos including an Iron Maiden tattoo on his forearm, a tattoo of the Newcastle United crest on his shoulder and another tattoo on the top of his arm.
It is believed David could be wearing a blue or black padded jacket, black joggers and black trainers.
David is known to walk with a limp.
