Police have descended on a residential street today in the North East today (October 17) and have cordoned off a section of the neighbourhood after receiving a concerned call about a woman - here's everything we know so far.
Forensic officers and police vehicles were spotted at Hemming Street in Grangetown, Sunderland this afternoon after erecting a cordon on the street just after 7am this morning.
Officers are manning the scene that stretches behind the property into the alleyway after police received a call expressing concern for a woman.

One business owner in the area who did not wish to be named says they are "very surprised" at the police presence and it has got them "really worried".
They added: "This area is a bit crime-prone. I think we should have more CCTV and police patrol around here."
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 7.15am today (Tuesday), police received a report from the ambulance service of concern for a woman at an address on Stockton Terrace in Sunderland.
"Emergency services are currently in attendance at the scene."
A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service added: "We received a call at 7.01am this morning (Tuesday 17 October) to reports of an incident at a private address on Stockton Terrace in Sunderland.
"We dispatched an ambulance crew and a rapid response paramedic to the scene."
