The faces of the most wanted North East criminals revealed

Crimestoppers brings together appeals and information published by the country’s police forces to bring criminals to justice.

Here are the people with connections to the region who Crimestoppers says are among the country’s most wanted.

There are eight people wanted in relation to crimes including wounding, prison recall, and endangering life.

Crimestoppers is urging anyone who may have seen these people to report it anonymously.

Here are the faces of the eight criminals on the Crimestoppers list for the North East:

Kathleen Mackell

Mackell is wanted by Northumbria Police for wounding and endangering life at 7 Cartmel Grove, Gateshead.

She frequents Gateshead and Bensham, is aged between 40 and 45 and is described as approximately five feet tall. 

Mackell is of medium build, with brown hair and has a 3” scar on the left side of her eyebrow.

Anthony Mawdsley

Mawdsley is wanted for recall to prison, due to showing poor behaviour and committed offences.

He is known in the Washington area and has a girlfriend in the Stanley area.

Mawdsley is aged between 30 and 35, described as around six feet tall, of slim build, with brown hair.

He has a tattoo on the left side of his neck with ‘Anthony’ on, while he also has a scar on the left side of his face, and has a speech impediment. 

Craig Inskip

Inskip, who has strong links to the North Tyneside area, is wanted for prison recall by Northumbria Police.

He is described as medium build, between 35 and 40, approximately five feet eight, and has brown hair, with a 3” scar on the left eyebrow.

Terence Foster

Foster is wanted for recall to prison by Northumbria Police, due to showing poor behaviour and committed offences.

He is known around the Newcastle Byker area and the Cramlington area, while Foster is described as five feet ten, aged between 35 and 40, of slim build, and has brown hair.

Foster has a tattoo on his left arm with the name ‘NAOMI’ on it, and also has a scar on his left thumb. 

Callum Cross

Cross is wanted for failure to attend Court, and there is an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to call 101 quoting his name.

Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously by ringing 0800 555 111.

A Crimestoppers reward is available for information given directly to the charity for information that leads to him being detained.

His family reside in the Newcastle area, and he is described as aged between 20 and 25, approximately six feet tall, of slim build, and has brown short-cropped hair. 

David Stephen Hall

Crimestoppers are appealing to the public for information for wanted man David Stephen Hall, who is wanted on prison recall and is believed to be actively evading arrest in the Northumbria Police area.

Anyone who has seen him or believes they may know where he may be staying is asked to please do the right thing and contact police immediately.

Anyone who has seen him is asked to call 101 quoting his name.

He is described as aged between 30 and 35, he is around five foot four, of slim build, with short cropped brown hair. 

Jack Reece Quinn

Jack Reece Quinn is wanted on an emergency prison recall, the recall was issued Jan 2021 and he remains wanted. He has links to South Tyneside, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Durham, South Yorkshire and Leicestershire.

Quinn is described as 'stocky' build with short-cropped brown hair. He also has a tattoo on his neck.

He is also known as Dean Quinn, Jack Quinn, Jack Riseborough, and Jack Reece McKenna Quinn.
