A 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital with suspected stab wounds following an incident in a North East residential area at the weekend, police have confirmed.
Cleveland Police have appealed for information following the incident in Somerset Road, Norton, in the early hours of Saturday.
Emergency services converged on the scene following reports of an assault at 4qam. A large area was sealed off by police as investigations took place.

Officers remained in the area for several hours and were seen combing the area for any potential evidence.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said today (Monday, October 10): "Detectives from Stockton CID are investigating an incident in Somerset Road, Norton, at the weekend in which a 16-year-old boy sustained injuries consistent with being stabbed.
"It is believed to have happened sometime after 4am on Saturday 14th October.
"The victim received hospital treatment and was later released.
"Two males (14 and 19) were detained shortly afterwards in a nearby address and arrested on suspicion of assault.
"They were interviewed and released on bail pending further enquiries."
