An American sweet shop has reopened in a brand new store housing several businesses.
Sweets, Treats and Treasures opened on Middle Street in Consett on Saturday (October 7) welcoming residents to try their wide array of wares.
The shop contains three businesses, specialising in American sweets, pet supplies, as well as homeware and gifts.
These stores include Consett Candy, Pampered Palates, and Rachael's Homeware and Gifts.

The sweet shop will offer customers confections sourced from abroad, specifically the United States and Japan.
A spokesperson for Consett Candy said: "We had a very great opening day and Consett Candy reopened.
"We are three different shops in one.
"The shop took around four months of hard to get where we are today, and lots of time and effort."

A spokesperson for Sweets, Treats and Treasures said: "What an amazing opening day we’ve had.
"Fantastic to meet and chat with our lovely new customers. A big thank you for all of your support today."
Pet supplier Pampered Palates said it will offer customers "all-natural" dog food, treats and products.
Meanwhile, Rachael's Homeware and Gifts will be offering patrons handbags, shoes, ornaments and other items for sale.
Speaking on the opening, Pampered Palates said: "We just want to say an absolutely massive thank you to everyone who visited Sweets, Treats and Treasures for our open day today.
"We were overwhelmed by how much support we received today. There's also lots of special thank yous from us to help us get there on time today."
"Claire Lyons, Mark Lyons, Ben Lyons, Emily Lyons, David Wright, Joanne Wright, Claire Davie and Ian Davie, you are the best family anyone could wish for.

"From painting, cleaning, clearing rubbish, stocking shelves, working in-store & making our beautiful balloon displays, we couldn't have done it without you."
The store is located on the site previously occupied by Nobles Amusements.
The shop added they will be showcasing a local business' products in-store as a way of giving back to the community.
The opening times for the businesses are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
