A teenage girl has been taken to hospital after she was hit by a car.
The incident happened shortly before at about 4.30pm on Monday (October 9) on Low Farm Drive in Redcar.
Police closed the road while paramedics attended the scene.

The girl was taken to hospital at James Cook. Her injuries are believed to have been minor.
Eyewitnesses initially suggested the girl had been hit by a bus or coach, but emergency services do not believe this to have been the case.
Police are now investigating the incident and have urged anyone with information to contact them.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: “Police received a report of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian (girl aged 16) yesterday, Monday 9th October at 4:40pm.
“The collision occurred on Low Farm Drive in Redcar.
“Officers and colleagues from the ambulance service attended the scene. The girl was taken to hospital (believed to be with minor injuries).

“Anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 quoting 201455.”
A North East Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Low Farm Drive in Redcar shortly after 4.30pm on 9 October.
“We dispatched one ambulance crew and transported one patient to James Cook Hospital.”
