A new batch of eager contestants entered the Big Brother house yesterday - with one of them set to represent North Yorkshire during her stay.
ITV's reboot of the classic reality TV show Big Brother finally kicked off last night (October 8), welcoming a group of 16 fresh faces to the newly revealed Big Brother house.

The 25-year-old customer support agent said: "My boyfriend would describe me in three words – quirky but lovable," she said.
"My friends in China think I am like a crazy mother because I always take care of them. I’m very playful."
In her introduction, Yinrun explained she has many favourite "British Slang" phrases.
She listed: "Chuffed to bits, Bob's your uncle, Cheers mate and Ninconpoop."
The first five contestants stood still to win the game after dancing to Whitney Houston’s I Wanna Dance With Somebody, as sixth contestant Yinrun entered to find the room of unmoving people.
Yinrun won the game with a prize of breakfast in bed, choosing fellow housemate Jenkin to cook and deliver it to her.
New hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best kicked off the launch show on ITV, after the reality show was axed in 2018 by Channel 5, introducing the new batch of contestants in front of a studio audience.
Best said: “The OG (original) is back and if you’ve never seen it before, get ready for the greatest reality show on earth, and like all famous faces it’s had a 2023 glow-up ready for a brand new series.”
Odudu, wearing a blue catsuit, added: “Tonight sees the return of the most famous house in the UK, we’ve got a brand new house, shall we put some new housemates in it?
“At the end of it there will be one contestant standing and they will win £100,000.”
