One person has been taken to hospital following a collision on a County Durham road this morning (October 6).
Emergency services were called to the A167 near Ferryhill in County Durham just before 7:30am this morning in response to a crash.
Reports say that the road was closed whilst the scene was dealt with.

The North East Ambulance service confirmed they attended the scene and took a patient to the University Hospital of North Durham.
A North East Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to a road traffic collision this morning (6 October) at 7:20am on the A167 at Ferryhill.
"We dispatched one double crewed ambulance and took one patient to University Hospital of North Durham."
Durham Constabulary has been contacted for more information.
