An appeal has been launched following a suspected sexual assault in Darlington town centre.
Durham Police said the incident occurred sometime between 2.35am and 3.20am on Sunday (September 24).
The victim was helped by three other women on Duke Street who offered to take her home following the suspected assault.

A Durham Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for information following a suspected sexual assault in Darlington.
"The incident occurred in the town centre, sometime between 2.35am and 3.20am on Sunday, September 24.
"Following the incident, the victim was approached on Duke Street by three women who kindly offered to take her home."
Officers are now keen to speak to the group as they may have witnessed the incident.
