The new store, named 'Middlesbrough 2' is set to compliment the existing Middlesbrough shop and will also be home to a Home Bargains bakery.
Manager of the new store, Joanne Llewellyn, said: "We are really looking forward to opening our new Middlesbrough Store on the Gateway Retail Park, to showcase to the people of Middlesbrough our new look store with our large range of Frozen & Chilled food along with our new Bakery.
"The Store is in a great location and will bring a real buzz to the retail park. We are extremely excited to open our store and delight our customers with our Top Brands and Bottom prices."
She added: "Our second Middlesbrough location will be a great store for us, and we’re proud to be able to offer local people top-branded goods at exceptionally low prices."
Ahead of the opening, the store confirmed they will also be donating £2,000 to The Great North Air Ambulance.
A spokesperson for The Great North Air Ambulance said "All the funds raised by Home Bargains will go a long way towards keeping our helicopters flying.
"Every week, our teams respond to an average of 38 incidents. We only respond to the most severely ill or injured patients, where time is often critical.
"As an entirely charity-funded service, we are only able to be there thanks to the generosity of our donors. We are therefore incredibly grateful to Home Bargain’s team members and customers for their support."
