Online service "temporarily unavailable," says Royal Mail
A Royal Mail spokesperson said: “We are sorry our online service is temporarily unavailable.

"Please be reassured that this is a technical issue and will not affect an item’s delivery.
“We apologise for any inconvenience.”
"Absolute joke" - Royal Mail customers left fuming over technical issue
The technical issue has left Royal Mail customers fuming with many reporting they have been unable to send or track their parcels.
One customer, reporting their problem on Downdetector, said: "Can't add item to basket, therefore can't send my package for my business. Absolute joke."
Another added: "Still RM will not put up anything on their website to tell customers, what a bunch of jobsworths.
"I can not wait to get all my parcels delivered and out of your hands, i will now be using other couriers.
"We can not put up with this poor service you provide, and you have the nerve to hike up prices too."
A third person commented: "Royal Mail has gotten worse and worse every year... every other day an issue with tracking... RUINING SMALL BUSINESS!!!"
