Police have thanked the public after they helped to find a missing Sunderland man.
Gary, in his 30s, was last seen at around 4.30 pm yesterday (October 2) at the junction of Portchester Road and Packham Road in Pennywell.
The police carried out searches to locate him, and found him earlier this morning.

A spokesperson from Northumbria Police said: "We're delighted to be able to update you that missing Sunderland man Gary has been found safe and well.
"A huge thanks to everyone who shared the appeal and helped us spread the word.
"As ever, we really appreciate it. Also a huge thanks to all our officers, staff, volunteers and partners who assisted in the search for Gary. Amazing job!"
