A County Durham pub will reopen next week after almost a month's worth of renovations at the venue.
On Wednesday (October 4), the Castle Eden Inn will show off its newly revamped bar and food area after taking some time to spruce up the place.
Known in the past as having a great food offering, the current owners have promised customers a new menu and freshly prepared meals, as well as ales and other drinks.

The venue has shared its menu online, with a lot of approving comments from people who are regulars at Castle Eden and those who have said that they will try the revamped pub.
Plenty of people are also hoping that Castle Eden will return to a "great pub" once again after having a period of decline in recent times, with people hoping the current owners can "turn it round".
Commenting online about the pub revamp, one person said: "Everything looks and sounds brilliant - I’m truly hoping our Castle Eden lnn is finally back to where it once was," while another added: "Good luck to everyone, it looks an amazing menu and they are amazing staff; You will absolutely smash it."
It's been a good period for venue renovations recently after The Spotted Dog in High Coniscliffe reopened earlier this week after it went through a period of revamps.
