Organisers have confirmed a popular County Durham fireworks show will go ahead to the joy of residents.
Stanley Events Ltd have confirmed this year's fireworks display at Oakey Park in Stanley is set to go ahead on Saturday (November 4).
The organisers thanked Stanley Town Council for their continued support of the show which is being in done in support of Red Sky Foundation.

The event will begin at 5pm with the fireworks display beginning at 7pm.
A Stanley Events spokesperson said: "Delighted to confirm that this years display in Stanley will take place on Saturday 4th November from 5pm with fireworks off at 7pm.
"Thanks to Stanley Town Council for their continued support of this great event in support of Red Sky Foundation."

Residents reacted to the news with excitement as the calendar ticks closer to Bonfire Night (November 5).
Thousands are expected to attend the event which has proved a popular attraction for residents over the years.
The event will feature a DJ performance, live music, fun fair rides, food and family entertainment.
