Four North Yorkshire businesses have been tipped in the AA Hospitality Awards, highlighting them as some of the best that the nation has to offer.
The prestigious AA Hospitality Awards seek to recognise and acknowledge the crème de la crème of the hospitality industry - both hotels and restaurants.
This year's glitz ceremony was held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on Monday night saw four well know (and well-loved!) North Yorkshire businesses were given rosettes for excellence.
Here's a breakdown of the four businesses tipped in 2023-2024's Hospitality Awards:
Shaun Rankin at Grantely Hall, in Ripon, North Yorkshire
Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall has already been given a Michelin star for their top-notch fine dining experience. N
ow, just over two years since the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star, the popular fine-dining restaurant has been given four AA Rosettes, a prestigious award given only to businesses that are the "epitome of excellence".
Chef Shaun Rankin is originally from Yorkshire but honed his skill at the Mayfair Hotel in London - returning to his native land, he opened his eponymous restaurant at Grantley Hall hotel.
Advertised as "championing our local Yorkshire produce and acting with sustainability and seasonality", guests to Shaun Rankin at Grantley Hall can expect to receive a fresh, experimental and "visionary" meal.

The Star Inn at Harome, North Yorkshire
Just outside of Helmsley, on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, The Star Inn has been given three rosettes in the Hospitality Awards.
Essentially, this award winner is 'an Inn with Rooms serving modern Yorkshire food'. Their menu revolves around locally sourced seasonal ingredients, such as local game, North Sea fish and fresh herbs from its own kitchen garden.
The Star has won virtually every relevant industry award from a much-celebrated Michelin star to Top UK Gastropub - and now adds the new three rosettes accolade to their roster.
