A woman was left with a black eye after a street attack by another woman next to a County Durham pub over the weekend.
Durham Police are continuing to investigate after the incident, which happened on Newgate Street in Bishop Auckland on Saturday (September 23) between 7pm and 7.30pm.

A woman was left with an eye injury after being assaulted by another woman near The King’s Head pub.
The victim was helped by a group of people following the incident.
