A North East pub has divided opinion and generated a big talking point online after serving up a 'controversial' burger on its menu.
Scott & Wilson in North Shields are known for serving up burgers, bao buns and other food items, while also showing live sport and serving drinks.
However, it seems its latest creation has caused a little bit of a stir online and led to numerous comments being left online in response to the restaurant.

After Newcastle United's return to the Champions League last week, which saw The Magpies play AC Milan, Scott & Wilson have taken it upon themselves to create a burger named ''Nee Mackems In Milan".
Featuring chicken Milanese, basil and tomato sauce, the burger also has Calabrian chilli sauce, grated parmesan and black pepper on it.
After it appeared on its menu, Scott & Wilson was inundated with several negative reviews from Sunderland fans, who were far from impressed with the burger's creation.
On social media, one user said: "We're living rent-free in their heads if they think they have to do something like this," while another added: "A small club mentality to do something like this."
Another person also said: "Never seen a pub shoot themselves in the foot so much. Really think you’re that good you can alienate your business from half of the North East?"

Despite the negative comments, there were also many more positive ones who saw the funny side of the burger's name, with one person saying: "Simply quality - I'll definitely be visiting the pub soon," while another said: "This is brilliant - it's just a bit of football banter."
It also seems as though the venue isn't too fussed with all of the comments it's getting after posting on its social media page on Saturday (September 23): "Come and enjoy live sport in the Scott and Wilson lounge this weekend with the notoriously good 'Nee Mackems In Milan'.
The post added: "Come and see what's ruffled all the feathers south of the Tyne."
