A controversial British comedian was pictured posing with staff at a popular Darlington pub this week.
Royston Vasey, better known by his stage name Roy 'Chubby' Brown, was seen posing with staff at The Old Farmhouse pub in Darlington on Wednesday (September 20).
The Grangetown native, well known for his role as Mayor Vaughn in The League of Gentlemen, was seen beaming with server Emily after his meal.

A spokesperson for The Old Farmhouse said the pub had the "pleasure" of hosting him at the establishment.
They said: "Today we had the pleasure of Roy Chubby Brown aka Royston Vasey.
"All jokes aside he loved his meal with us today with a fantastic service from Emily."
The stand-up comic has cut a controversial figure with his humour, high profanity, social commentary, and views on political correctness.
Vasey's tour manager, Ritchie Hoyle, revealed in April his client was not in the plans of Consett's Empire Theatre for any future shows.
This was joined by a list of other venues in Cheltenham, Hayes, Colne, Workington, Melton Mowbray, Sheffield, Nottingham, Norwich, Cromer, Swansea, Cardiff, Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Perth.

Mr Hoyle blamed this on "certain councils," "woke brigades," and "snowflakes."
Residents reacted with delight at the news of Vasey's appearance at the pub.
One referenced the comedian's previous work calling him a "true gentleman," while another praised him as an "amazing fella."
