Banks across the region are continuing to close at a rapid rate with more branches set to pull down the shutters in the coming months.
Nineteen branches across the North East and North Yorkshire have shut down so far this year leaving many customers without a local store.
Another fourteen have been earmarked for closure by various bank brands with the final withdrawals to be made in the coming months.

Some areas have seen several branches close within months including Whitley Bay in North Tyneside where four sites have shut.
Barclays has announced the most closures and left the whole of Wensleydale without any bank branches when its Leyburn and Bedale sites shut within a fortnight.
Banks including Lloyds, HSBC and Halifax are continuing to push forward with the move to online banking. The number of people using in-person services has been falling for years as more people switch to digital.
