One person has been taken to hospital following a crash involving a bicycle on a North East bridge this evening.
North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) have confirmed they received reports of a crash between a cyclist and vehicle on Tees Newport Bridge, Approach Road in Stockton shortly after 5:30pm today (September 20).
They confirmed they deployed one emergency ambulance crew to the scene.

A NEAS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 17:42 to reports of a road traffic incident involving a cyclist and a vehicle on Tees Bridge, Approach Road in Stockton.
"We sent one emergency ambulance crew and took one patient to James Cook hospital for further treatment."
The Northern Echo have contacted Cleveland Police for more information on the incident.
