“It’s quite a shock to have so many police on your doorstep. Hopefully, we will find out what has happened soon.”
Another woman said: “All I have heard is that someone has died but that’s it. The police have been here since yesterday (Tuesday) but a lot of them have left now.”
A number of officers are in and around the area conducting enquiries and providing a reassuring presence.

Forensic teams have also been seen in properties at the start of this week, and cordons have been in place throughout.
The streets were left quiet this afternoon in the wake of the incidents as one police van remained at the scene outside of the property.
The remnants of a police cordon could be seen in images taken of the property.
One resident living in the nearby flats on Ajax Way, John Edwards, said residents did not know what was going on, and most of the police present have since left the area.
He said: “The police have been here since Monday but we don’t really know what has happened.
“A lot of them have gone now but it was really busy yesterday with several police cars parked up.”
