A new North East bar and grill opened to a raucous weekend after months of anticipation.
These Things Happen on Harbour View in Sunderland opened to bustling business on Saturday (September 16).
The Roker venue welcomed residents to the former Harbour View Motors site, which has undergone a significant makeover, over the weekend to mark its opening.

A spokesperson for the business called the night "epic" and thanked customers for making the night.
They said: "Opening weekend at These Things Happen
"It was EPIC!
"We hope you have had the best time with us, and enjoyed our new space, drinks and atmosphere."
Pictures from the weekend showed customers enjoying the atmosphere at the venue and revelling in the fun.
The bar offers an array of real ales from Doom Bar to Ossett Brewery's White Rat, as well as much more, priced at £3.50.

The venue also boasts a Sky Sports package ensuring patrons will be able to watch their favourite sport on days and evenings out.
A spokesperson for the business said the location is dog-friendly and invited people to bring along their "furry companions."
The bar's opening hours for this week are 3:30pm to 9:30pm Monday to Thursday, with the weekend schedule yet to be announced.
