These seven dogs have waited longer than any others in their kennels for their forever home.

The canines at Darlington Dog's Trust have been listed on their website for the longest amount of time and are still patiently looking for new homes.

With loads of personality and the need for plenty of mental stimulation, he’s described as a bit of a big friendly giant.

This ‘sweet lad’ will brighten any home that can offer him a secure garden and adult-only, cat-free environment.

Francis, a Lurcher, is the sweet yet somewhat shy type.

He’s looking for a calm environment and he will thrive with a patient owner with no children around. He could potentially share a home with another tranquil dog.

His perfect match would devote time and patience to help him build trust.

Della, the young American Bulldog, requires an adult-only environment that can foster her confidence and help start her training from scratch.

She needs a bit of work to develop her social skills with other dogs and to channel her sometimes ‘OTT’ energy but wants the right guiding hand to help her thrive.
