A Darlington man has been fined in court for assaulting an emergency worker, among other offences this month.
Michael Rayper, 36 of Langdale Road in Darlington, had his case heard before Leeds Magistrates’ Court on September 5.
He was charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place, assaulting an emergency worker, and assaulting another person.

Rayper was caught in the act at Leeds Railway Station assaulting a police constable by beating him on April 09, 2023.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences and was fined £1,200 as a result.
He was also made to pay £300 in compensation, £480 to victims services and £85 in court costs.
Landing him a total bill of over £2,000.
