This is the unbelievable moment a 'ghost' was captured on security camera footage riding a bike along the Shambles in York.
The creepy footage shows a bike travelling a few metres along the historic street, without a rider.
When the footage was posted on social media it spread like wildfire.
The ancient city has been known to be a centre for ghostly activities before.

The Shambles Market Facebook page stated: "Yesterday, something very strange was spotted on CCTV… and this clip gives us the chills.
"Theories welcome…
"Has anyone else noticed peculiar paranormal activity around town?"
There is a popular ghost walk around York which attracts hundreds of visitors every year.
One of the most famous ghosts in the city is known to walk the corridors of York Minster in a naval uniform.
Stories say that he often whispers in the ears of women in the cathedral at night.
