A much-anticipated North East Italian restaurant has opened its doors today.
Italian restaurant That's Amore opened its doors on Spout Lane in Washington at 11.30am on Wednesday (September 13).
The owner of the restaurant has said they were excited to announce their opening and welcome customers to their venue.
They also thanked residents for their patience and support in the build-up to the restaurant's opening.

A spokesperson for the business said: "We made it.
"We are proud and excited to announce, finally, that we are opening our door on Wednesday, 13th of September 2023, from 11.30am to 9am on the day, with an a la carte italian menu.
"To book a table on our opening day, please call us at 0191 816 1364 or text us on messenger!
"Thank you very much for you patience these days, and also for your support."
The eatery offers a range of traditional Italian food ranging from starters such as omelette francese, pasta and risotto, and pizza.
It also offers a range of drink choices from red wines such as chianti, shiraz, sparkling wines, champagne, rose, and white wines.
The restaurant will also be serving Italian favourites such as tiramisu, panna cotta, and gelato.
Residents reacted to the news of the opening with a mixture of joy and excitement.
