A man has been arrested after a vehicle crashed into a wall outside a North East care home.
Northumbria Police confirmed a 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving after they received a report a car had crashed into a fence and a wall of a property on Suffolk Street in Hendon, Sunderland at 4pm on Monday (September 12).
They confirmed no one was seriously injured during the incident.

They added the man remains under investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Force said: “Shortly before 4pm yesterday (Monday) we received a report that a car had crashed into a fence and a wall of a property on Suffolk Street in Hendon, Sunderland.
“Thankfully nobody was seriously injured.
“A 49-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and he remains under investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.”
