The weather is set to cool down to the temperatures that we have seen over the last couple of weeks, as more rain is set to hit the North East.
After flooding hit parts of the region on Saturday (September 9) and Sunday (September 10), residents in the region can expect highs of 16 degrees and rain for much of the day.
The forecaster has predicted a cloudy start with patchy rain, gradually brightening up from the north as rain clears away, leaving sunny spells and light winds. Feeling fresher with more seasonable temperatures.
