North East music lovers should be ready to be swept away by disco fever next year as a show loved by legend Tina Turner herself is set to perform – here’s what you need to know.
Brutus Gold’s Love Train will be coming to Sunderland’s Fire Station on April 20, 2024, which is said to transport attendees “straight to the heart” of the disco phenomenon.
The disco party will see performances from Polly Ester, Chad Valley, Willis Hardy Freeman, Anna Glypta and many more as audiences are transported back to the golden age of disco.

Fronted by the disco legend Brutus Gold, The Love Train has gained a reputation for its unique disco show that recently debuted in France.
Brutus Gold, who is a North East native, has been wowing audiences since 1989 with unique takes on 70s classics.
In the nostalgic nightclub atmosphere, partygoers can dance the night away with the band and re-live the magic age of disco.
The Love Train will also be making a Christmassy stop at the Middlesbrough Empire Theatre on December 9, before returning there on May 25, 2024.
