A person has been taken to hospital after a road traffic incident in Darlington on Friday (September 8) morning that saw an air ambulance and four other medical teams attend.
The incident happened at around 10.55am on the A167 junction with Hartlea Avenue, which saw emergency services at the scene and the road closed off for around two hours.
Paramedics from the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) attended the scene, with the police and air ambulance also present.

The ambulance service has confirmed that one person was taken to Darlington Memorial Hospital via road ambulance.
An NEAS spokesperson said: "We received a call at 10.57am this morning to reports of a road traffic incident on the A167 junction with Hartlea Avenue, Darlington.
"We dispatched two ambulance crews, one specialist paramedic, a clinical team leader, and requested support from our colleagues at Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) charity who attended by air.
"One patient was taken by road to the Darlington Memorial Hospital for further treatment."
Durham Police has been contacted for a statement relating to this incident.
