A new mini golf, cocktail bar and arcade venue will open in Darlington in 2024 after the people behind the venture revealed the first details about the project.
The new owners of Wacky Social: Golf, Arcade, Bar took to social media to confirm that the entertainment space would be coming to the town, as well as sharing a few other brief details.
Promising "the wackiest course in the North East," the planned venue has also pledged amazing cocktails and the suggestion of a SEGA arcade.

Alongside the first details of the mini-golf course, it seems that the new owners are keen to show off their progress after sharing images of some of the props that would be going into the building.
This included sharing an image of a six-foot Mike Tyson statue, a bumper kart, and a drum kit prop, which will occupy the mini golf course once open.
Despite sharing the first pieces of information about Wacky Social, exciting people about the prospect of the town's first mini golf course, it hasn't yet shared a location or an exact date of opening.
Aside from saying "opening early 2024," the new owners have stayed tight-lipped, but have set up a Facebook and Instagram account, as well as creating a website, which is not active just yet.

Adding its first post to its social media pages, Wacky Social said: "We're launching a crazy golf course in Darlington, in early 2024.
"There'll be a bar area with some amazing cocktails and hopefully a little SEGA Arcade too.
"Watch this space, and follow all our socials to join the journey with us It's gonna be the wackiest course in the North East."
From the brief details released so far, it's expected the venue will follow a similar format seen by Lane 7 and Roxy Ballroom.
In Darlington, it will also join existing leisure facilities like Vue Cinema, and the Dolphin Centre, alongside countless food and drink offerings.
