A man suffered serious injuries after he was attacked in a County Durham street that also saw several vehicles damaged.
The incident happened between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Saturday, August 26 on Railway Street, Craghead, near Stanley.
Officers from Durham Police are currently investigating the street assault, which saw one man taken to Newcastle RVI for treatment after suffering serious injuries.

The police also confirmed that several vehicles were also damaged during the incident.
A man in his 30s has since been charged with several offences and remanded into custody but officers, who believe this is an isolated incident, still need the public’s help to identify anyone else involved.
