Residents flocked to a popular North Yorkshire agricultural show to enjoy the sun and various festivities.
Attendees from across the North East and North Yorkshire could be seen taking in the sun and sights at the annual Muker show in Upper Swaledale today (September 6).
The event marked the 116th time the agricultural show has taken place.

A procession of a band opened the show with officials and judges making their way onto the show field.
The invitation sheep dog trial followed soon after - with the top prize of a 1st Graham Edwards Trailers Plaque and £30 up for grabs.
After this, tractor and implement judging took place, while many bathed in the sun on the idyllic North Yorkshire green.
The junior sheep handling competition took place shortly after at around 11:45am.
At 3pm, the Fell Races took place, with competitions for under-12s, under-14s, under-17s, and the senior race all taking place.

Many were pictured greatly enjoying the day out which had been blessed by uncharacteristically beautiful weather for the time of year.
Following this, the show finished at around 5pm.
