People were delighting in the spectacle as they looked on at a historic North Yorkshire race show.
Many gathered from across North East and North Yorkshire this Saturday (September 2) and Sunday (September 3) to enjoy the new-look Croft Historic Race Weekend and Show at Croft Circuit.
Organisers of the event had described it as "one of the highlights on the social calendar in the region" in the build-up to the showcase.

Spectators could be seen enjoying the various vehicles involved in the show's races -ranging from double-decker buses to classic cars.
The meet has become an established fixture on the calendar for over a decade in the guise of both the Croft Nostalgia and Croft Retro meeting.
This was the first year organisers actively included classic cars and vintage vehicles from the 1950s up to the 1980s.
Mini Coopers, Ford Anglias, Lotus Cortinas and Ford Mustangs could all be seen taking part in the pulsating action.

Onlookers were able to catch this sight as they watched a series of races from the Historic Sports Car Club.
Formula 5000 and Formula 3 single-seaters built and raced between 1967 and 1979 also took part on the day, competing for the Aurora Trophy.
Other makes such as Porsches, Datsuns and MGs were also present at the event.
A series of track parades also took place on Sunday morning, while around 600 vintage vehicles and classic cars of all makes, shapes and sizes were on display for fans to get a good look.

It also featured live music, dancing, fairground rides and entertainment from the 1950s to the 80s.

- The British Racing & Sports Car Club Race Meeting taking place on September 16 and 17
- The Classic Motorcycle Racing Club Bike Race Meeting taking place on September 30 and October 1
- The Classic Sports Car Club Race Meeting on October 14
