Residents attended a popular County Durham dog show today alongside their pooches for a fun-filled day.
Cockerton Community Dog Show took place on Cockerton Green on Sunday (September 3) and saw many dogs compete, with prizes for waggiest tail, best trick, and best biscuit catcher.

Many beaming owners could be seen showing off their dogs, many sporting novelty costumes from regal getups, leopard spot coats, and hot dog costumes. while the adorable pups could be seen excitedly greeting other dogs.
Dogs could be seen performing tricks on the green, often in exchange for treats, much to the delight of their owners.
