One person has been taken to hospital following a motorcycle crash on a North East road earlier today.
North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) confirmed they received a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on the junction between Norton Avenue and Somerset Road, Stockton, at 2:17pm today (September 2).
They added they deployed specialist paramedic, a clinical team leader, an emergency ambulance crew and an air ambulance to the scene.

An NEAS spokesperson confirmed one person has been taken to James Cook Hospital by road ambulance.
They said: ""We received a call at 2:17pm to reports of a road traffic collision on the junction of Norton Avenue and Somerset Road involving a motorcycle.
"We dispatched a specialist paramedic, a clinical team leader, an emergency ambulance crew and an air ambulance.
"One patient was taken to James Cook hospital by road."
The Northern Echo have contacted Cleveland Police for more information on the incident.
