Returning for its 27th year Darlington’s R’n’B weekender will take over the town centre next weekend with a host of live music and bands.
The Market Square will be the focal point of events next week (Friday, September 8 – Sunday 10) with new artists and old favourites on the bill.
The Friday evening will kick off in The Forum with The Bandits performing while band Wolfred with acoustic blues and dark gospel ballads will begin events on the main stage on Saturday.

A new family friendly vibe will come on the Saturday with headliners Space Cowboy (a Jamiroquai Tribute Band) finishing up the day.
On Sunday there’s a choice between a chilled out, relaxed vibe at the Riverside stage or an upbeat and traditional R’n’B theme in the Market Square.
A host of hospitality venues throughout the town will host acts including Avalon, The Bondgate Tavern, The Boot and Shoe, Hoskins, Number One Bar, Orb, Quakerhouse, and Vesuvio.
The free festival is organised by Darlington Borough Council along with the Darlington Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Club and Gasto Promotions.
