A man who fell down a large hill while having a wee told firefighters that he was 'going for another beer' after they attempted to help him.
Fire crews from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Norton Road in Malton at around 6.10pm on Wednesday (August 30) following reports of a man in distress.
According to the fire service, a member of the public had called them to report that a man had fallen 15 metres down a grassy embankment while 'answering the call of nature' and had hurt his hips.

After arriving on the scene, two fire engines from Malton brought a stretcher and requested help from the ambulance service.
The man, who also complained of back pain, feeling cold, and an existing condition of arthritis, was rescued by the emergency services an hour later.
After being rescued, the man reportedly refused any medical attention, and "made his own way down the road from the emergency services crews stating "he was going for another beer," according to the fire service.
