One person has been hospitalised following a crash between a cyclist and a vehicle on a North East road.
A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision involving a cyclist and a vehicle in Eaglescliffe.
"The collision happened around 7:45am on Wednesday 30th August on Yarm Road at the junction with Sunningdale Drive involving a white Ford Transit van and a 44-year-old male cyclist.

"The cyclist suffered broken vertebrae and was taken to the University Hospital of North Tees for treatment."
Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 173106.
