An iconic North East Debenhams store has gone up for sale two years on from its closure.
Middlesbrough's former Debenhams store, located on Newport and Linthorpe Road, has been placed on sale on property site RightMove for £1.2 million.
The building closed its doors back in May 2021 following 110 years in the town centre, remaining vacant ever since.

The news of the closure was met by residents and councillors with concern and sadness at the time.
The property is arranged over six floors and comprises 71,079 square feet.
It was purchased by online retailer BooHoo in 2021 in what was a £55 million deal.
The building originally served as a Hotel, before becoming a department store in 1912.
The French Baroque style property is considered an important part of the scenery in Middlesbrough town centre, with many residents fond of its ornate masonry.
The third floor was added in the 1960s, with a roof area containing ancillary areas and plant above.
