Despite spells of heavy rain fans flocked to the event in a variety of incredible costumes.
From Mandalorians to Cinderella the event catered to all tastes.
Organisers estimated that around 2,000 people had poured into the hall within two hours.

Adrian Harcourt-Ronaldson was amazed when the event was announced.
He said: "This is the first time they have hosted an event in Darlington.
"It's just fantastic. These events allow you to meet people who have similar hobbies.
"It lets us add rare things to our personal collections and show off our costumes.
"Later there is a cosplay competition to see who has the best outfit.
"There are also film props on the top floor that you can go and see too."
Ian Bonar, the Comic Con organiser, described how he hoped it would become an annual event.
He said: "If people here want us to come back we will absolutely come back.
"Judging from the response today I think it is highly likely we will be.
"It's been great so far. For the size of the hall and the size of the town the turnout has been fantastic.
"Hosting these events and keeping the tickets cheap means that people can come along and see what it's like.
"If you try it once and like it then you can come back next year."
Nathan and Hannah Alderson attended as Mandalorians with their baby boasting a Yoda hat.
They described how exciting it was to have the event come to Darlington.
