Officers conducted a high-speed car chase through Norton this afternoon before catching the culprits.
Cleveland Police officers were in hot pursuit of a yellow sportscar through the town for five minutes.
The vehicle went offroad in an attempt to throw off the police but the two men were caught under a bridge in Albany Estate.
Both men were arrested at the scene.

A Cleveland Police spokesperson said: "Following intelligence received a five minute pursuit occurred which resulted in the vehicle going offroad near Norton.
"The pursuing vehicle detained two males who were arrested at the scene."
