A pair of thieves have been jailed after stealing £1000 worth of goods from Boots and then failing to surrender to court bail.
Florian Iulian Ivan, 35, and Serban Catalin, 40, from Scunthorpe, stole the high-value goods from the high street retailer in Northallerton on April 28 this year.
They then failed to surrender to custody at York Magistrates' Court on July 19, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings.

Ivan, of Frodingham Road, and Catalin, of Percival Street, both pleaded guilty to the theft charges at York Magistrates' Court on June 22 this year.
At the same court on Wednesday (August 23), the pair also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody.
The judge sentenced Ivan to eight weeks in prison and ordered him to pay £154 to fund victim services, while Catalin was handed a two-week sentence and given the same £154 charge.
Ivan was given a longer sentence, due to committing the crimes while out on bail.
