An investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a three-vehicle collision.
Emergency services were called to the A65 at Gargrave on Friday (August 18) at around 8.10pm, following reports of a collision between a blue Kia Rio, an orange Ford Ranger and the motorcyclist, who was riding a white Yamaha motorcycle.
On Monday (August 21), officers from North Yorkshire Police confirmed that the motorcyclist had since died from his injuries after he had been taken to hospital in critical condition.

Officers from the Major Collision Investigation Team continue to carry out their enquiries to establish the full circumstances around the collision and are re-appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or captured dash cam footage to contact them.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were uninjured and are assisting police with their enquiries.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
