Two men and a teenager have been arrested on suspicion of arson after a vehicle fire in the early hours of Monday (August 21) morning.
The fire was reported to the police at 1.18am on Linden Road in Northallerton.
A 15-year-old boy and a 29-year-old man have been on suspicion of arson.

A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson and possession of what is suspected to be a class-b drug.
They currently remain in police custody.
During the incident, firefighters kept the damage to the engine bay of the vehicle and it didn't spread to any nearby vehicles.
Speaking about the investigation, Detective Inspector Jill Cowling from Northallerton CID said: “This incident could have had very serious consequences. Thankfully on this occasion nobody was seriously injured.

“As part of the ongoing police investigation, I’m now appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident to come forward.
“Local residents should expect to see increased patrols in the local area over the next few days as a way of reassurance to the local community.
“A crew from Northallerton responded to reports of an Audi on fire. Damage was confined to the engine bay. The cause was deliberate. Crews used breathing aparatus, hose reel jet, thermal imaging camera, spreaders and a hooligan tool to deal with the incident."
